Seating up to 6 individuals, the motorhome features a luxurious rear ‘U’ shaped lounge that effortlessly transforms into a king-size bed, an electric drop-down double bed (complete with safety nets for the little ones), and a dining area that converts into a third double bed.
 
Fully certified as self-contained, Te Arawa is equipped with a toilet and shower, along with a solar panel for freedom camping, allowing you to explore off-the-grid locations. Perfect for the adventurous souls seeking unrestricted exploration!
In the well-appointed kitchen, whip up delectable kai (food) using the gas-powered 3-burner stove top, oven, and store your culinary delights in the 3-way fridge/freezer.
 
Stay cozy on chilly nights with the interior heater and indulge in the luxury of gas/electric-powered hot water. No worries about pesky insects, as all windows, doors, and skylights are custom fitted with flyscreens and shades.

Returning the Motorhome
When you return the motorhome, please make sure to empty the toilet and grey water tanks, and remove any rubbish. If you’d prefer a faster and easier drop-off, you can choose our additional cleaning option for $150 — we’ll take care of this for you.

Parking Your Vehicle
You’re welcome to leave your vehicle with us during your hire, if needed.

Auckland Airport Pick-Up & Drop-Off
For added convenience, we offer Auckland Airport pick-up and drop-off for $250. You can add this when you book. If your hire is longer than 14 days, we’ll include this service free of charge.

RUC Recovery Fee (Road User Charge)
Lastly, just a quick heads-up on the RUC Recovery Fee — this is a government tax on diesel vehicles in New Zealand. Since Te Arawa runs on diesel, the charge is $0.09 per kilometre ($9 per 100 km), which we’ll settle with you at the end of your hire.

Driver Requirements
Drivers must be 25 years or older and hold a full driver’s licence.

Where You Can Drive
Stick to the main roads — no off-roading, beach driving, or lengthy gravel road trips. If you’re planning to travel on unsealed roads, written approval is required via Camplify Messages before you set off. Please also familiarise yourself with the exclusions, terms, and conditions in your booking.

Keeping the Motorhome Fresh & Tidy

  • No smoking inside the motorhome, please.

  • Before returning, empty the toilet and grey water tanks.

  • Refill both the diesel and LPG tanks.

  • Love using the BBQ? Please give it a clean before you return. If it’s not returned clean, a $100 cleaning fee will apply.

In Case of an Emergency
If any engine warning lights appear, pull over immediately. If you break down or something goes wrong, get to a safe spot and call Camplify on 0800 779 779 for assistance.

Accidents or Damage
If anything happens, please let us know as soon as possible. We’ll need the full details — what happened, where, when, and who was involved.
